Watching Scott and Tessa dance on the ice leads us to moments of pure enchantment , as happens in this exhibition, where they dance both a tango and a waltz. Scott and Tessa slide around the ice ring in a very elegant and romantic way, perfectly representing the meaning of the music they dance to. We witnessed an excellent performance as if we were in a romantic ballroom.👏👏👏👏.

She did need to be lighter, though

Had she stayed eligible (amateur) post Albertville, this would have been a beautiful short program for Kristi. Very mature and artistically perfection. The peak of her career! :)

The commentators said Rohene did not know his mother was there. In a strange way, I wonder if he had known, if that might have conversely made him feel more relaxed, knowing she was right there in the audience pulling for him. There was too much pressure and build-up placed on him in that moment. The other thing most of us don't realize is that Rohene did not have sufficient financial support to train the necessary hours of a top flight athlete. Nor did he have multiple competitions under his belt prior to Nationals (aside from domestic regionals and sectionals competitions). Athletes need proper training time in order to excel under pressure. Of course, he experienced nerves, but lack of funding for sufficient training and ice time were also major factors not in his favor. Rohene has gone on to become a great show skater, and a wonderful coach and choreographer! ✨️

I would've had Angela in 2nd after the SP. She was faster than Sarah had better skating skills, bigger jumps & her artistry was much more mature than Sarah.

What a contrast to Yamaguchi’s hot “100% True Love” number!

Kristi’s greatest skill is her consistency. Mentally tough. Pair that with her balance of technique and artistry. 100% would’ve won in 94.
